Shoe is Undone
is the result of meeting the artist Phil Day at the International Bookbinding Conferences in Canberra, Australia, in March 2017.
Phil and I were invited as speakers and his speach convinced me. Some months later he asked me to bind his next book. I hope there will be many more collaborations together.

The Stick Binding
is a binding technique I learned with Edwin Heim in Ascona.
He saw a book made like this on a market, reviewed and refined it in his way.
You can use all sorts of sticks and rods, threads and fishing lines, one ore multi section book blocks.

Artist’s Book
